Goods and services shown are those we can provide for our clients.  You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic service and overhead.  If legal or other requirements mean you must buy items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.  

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

A. Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff $995*

 Our fee for the service of funeral director and staff included, but not limited to:  staff to respond to initial request for service 24 hours daily; consultation with the family or responsible party; coordinating service plans with clergy, cemetery, crematory, and/or other parties involved in the final disposition of the deceased; securing official documents and necessary registrations, and shelter of the deceased.  This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

B. Embalming $475*

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law.  Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing.  If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

C. Other Preparation of the Body $145*

Our charge for a direct cremation (without any ceremony) includes:  local initial transfer of deceased from place of death; transportation to crematory, cremation charges and basic services of staff.  If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container.  Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without outside covering).  The basic container we provide is made of cardboard.

Our charge includes:  basic services of staff for disposition only (no ceremonies), care of the body, and local transportation of deceased to cemetery.  No funeral merchandise is included in this charge.

  This list does not include prices for certain items you may ask us to buy for you (unless specified), such as cemetery or crematory charges, flowers, paid newspaper notices, death certificates, honoraria, or transportation services.  The prices for those items will be shown on your bill or the statement describing the funeral goods and services you selected.  PAYMENT IN FULL FOR ALL GOODS AND SERVICES IS EXPECTED AT THE TIME OF SELECTION. FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE WE ACCEPT CASH, CHECKS, OR VERIFIABLE AND IRREVOCABLE ASSIGNMENT OF INSURANCE PROCEEDS.

OUTER BURIAL CONTAINER PRICE LIST September 1, 2009

Outer Burial Containers are available in a price range from $595 to $9,820. In most areas of the country, no state or local law makes you buy a container to surround the casket in the grave.However, many cemeteries ask that you have such a container so that the grave will not sink.  Either a burial vault or rigid grave liner will satisfy these requirements.If you are required to purchase an outer burial container, we will list the reason in writing on your statement of funeral goods and services.
