Mr. Allen Wayne Gordon, age 75 of Magnet Cove, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Hot Springs. He was born in Arkadelphia, Arkansas on June 7, 1942 to the late Joseph Allen Gordon and Elva Pennington Gordon. Reared and educated in Malvern, he was a United States Army Veteran. He retired as a meat cutter from Safeway and Harvest Foods after nearly 40 years. Mr. Gordon was also a rancher. He attended Magnet Cove United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Wright Gordon, to whom he was married on November 17, 1977 in Little Rock; by two sons, Christopher Andrew Allen Gordon of Hot Springs, and Ricky Perciful and his wife, Tonya, of Magnet Cove; grandchildren, Charlie Allen Wayne Gordon, A. J. Gordon, Grace Perciful, Savanna Daniel, and Seth Daniel; a sister, Leola Heath of Ten Mile, and a brother, Jim Gordon and his wife, Lib of Malvern.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Gillespie.

A memorial service will be held at two o'clock Friday afternoon, April 20, 2018 in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Reverend Walt Garrett officiating. Interment will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock at a later date.
