Alma Adams Jones Walker, age 80 of Malvern, died Monday, September 16, 2024 in Hot Springs.  She was born on October 30, 1943 in Malvern, to the late Nathan "Pee Wee" Adams and Beatrice Woods Adams.  She graduated from Magnet Cove High School in 1961, was a homemaker for most of her life, and later worked and retired from St. Joseph Hospital after 28 years of service.  Alma was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Malvern.  She loved and happily married Melvin "Mel" Walker on February 14, 2002, and they spent their time traveling and just enjoying each other.

Alma used to bowl, did some skating and liked going to the lake.  She loved watching TV, reading, and playing games on the computer and Ipad.  She had a great love for all animals.  Alma always had and loved her cats and dogs, all rescues.  Watching the birds, squirrels and the deer feed was a favorite thing to do also.  Her greatest love (and first blessing from God) was the birth of her children, grandchildren, and her marriage to Mel Walker.

She was preceded in death by twin sons, Eric and Brent.  She is survived by her loving husband, Mel, of Malvern; loving twin daughters, Tiffany Jones Rosales (Kevin) of Malvern, and Stephanie Jones Delezen (Cecil) of El Dorado; a loving son, Brandon Jones (Nancy) of Hot Springs, and step-son Wade Walker (Penni) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Adam Rosales (Taylor), Sydney Rosales (Dawson Woodall), Jennifer Simmons (Curtis), Summer Delezen (Simon), twins Madelyn Jones and Claire Jones (T.J. Lydon); five great-grandchildren, Maverick Jones, Hailee Simmons, Jayden Simmons, Caitlyn Simmons, and Curtis Simmons, Jr. (CJ); one great-great-grandson, Jordan.

Funeral services will be held at ten o'clock Friday morning, September 20, 2024 in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
