Alton B. Jones, 92, of Ovilla, Texas, formerly of Benton, Arkansas died Monday, April 12, 2010. He was born on February 20, 1918 in Wing, Arkansas to the late Lewis and Etta Bolin Jones. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Coates Jones, by brothers Art and Bob Jones, and by his sister, Mary Everett.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Janella and Marshall Martin; by granddaughters, Carmen and her husband Rodney Darneal, and Maria and her husband Chris Adkins; by great-granddaughters, Heather and her husband Brandon Redd, and Crystal Darneal and Bethany Adkins, by great-grandson Josiah Adkins; by sisters-in-law Mildred Jones and Mary Berza, and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be at 11:30AM Thursday, April 15, 2010 in Forest Hills Cemetery, Alexander, Arkansas with Reverends Chris Adkins and James Walker officiating.
