B. L. "Bob" Scott, age 81 of Malvern, died Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Arbor Oaks Health and Rehab. He was born on August 12, 1934 in Ola, Arkansas to the late Wilbur Ray Scott and Eva Underwood Scott. Reared and receiving his early education in Ola, he later earned his Bachelor in Business Administration degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Bob was a licensed stock broker at one point, and was a founding building contractor of the Pleasant Valley and Maumelle subdivisions. He was owner/operator of B. L. Scott Realty and Construction in Little Rock for 30 years. A member of the State Board of Realtors, he was also a founding member of the Greater Little Rock Homebuilders Association. A member of the Pulaski Heights Masonic Lodge, he was a Shriner and member of the York Rite Bodies. Bob was an active sponsor of Boy Scouts of America and Explorers. He loved hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. Bob was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by one son, Kenny Scott and his wife Barbara of Malvern.

Bob was also preceded in death by a sister, Lois Marie Derrington.

A cryptside service will be held on Thursday morning, July 14, 2016 at ten o'clock at Pine Crest Mausoleum in Collegeville, Arkansas with Deacon Bud Daven officiating. Military honors will be provided by the honor guard from the Little Rock Air Force Base.
