Betty Lou Hollingsworth, age 81 of Huntsville, Alabama, died Friday, October 11, 2013. Born on February 9, 1932 in Malvern to the late William Bruce Pounders and Ives Grissom Pounders, she was the widow of the late Dick Hollingsworth.

She is survived by her sons, Bruce L. Brown and Arthur W. Manning, both of Kilgore, Texas, a daughter, Betty Jean Loeb and her husband, Richard, of Huntsville; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.

Mrs. Hollingsworth was also preceded in death by a sister, Millicent Hall, and one brother, W. B. Pounders, all of Malvern.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at J. A. Funk Funeral Home with a graveside service immediately following at Harp Cemetery with Brother Chuck Shryock officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Presbyterian Church of Good Samaritan Hospice in Huntsville, Alabama.
