Betty Laverne Robinson, age 74 of Malvern, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at her home. She was born on August 2, 1942 in Wapanucka, Oklahoma to the late Loman Edgar Cantrell and Iola Ladine Riley Cantrell. Reared and educated in California, she had been a resident of Malvern for two and a half years. Betty was the widow of the late James Darrell Robinson, who preceded her in death in 1968. Betty had worked in automobile financing and as an assistant in a veterinary lab. She was a Protestant and attended Life Point Church. She loved to quilt and to crochet.

She is survived by her sons, J. D. Robinson of Longmont, Colorado, and Kevin Martin of Malvern; by four siblings, June Sisson and her husband, Bill of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Helen Taylor and her husband, Mike, of Malvern. Roger Norvell of Gordonville, Texas, and Terry Norvell of Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Betty was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
