Obituary

Blanche Tullos, age 79 of Malvern, died Sunday evening, August 12, 2007 in Hot Springs. She was born in Malvern on August 4, 1928 to the late Denson and Tabitha Swayze. Reared and educated in Malvern, she attended the Church of Christ. She was the widow of the late Wilson Tullos, to whom she was married on August 22, 1946 in Mississippi. He preceded her in death in 1999. Mrs. Tullos was a homemaker, but had worked for Featherlite Manufacturing Company for ten years.

She is survived by a daughter, Faye and her husband Ray Shields of Malvern; by two brothers, Max Swayze of Gifford and Sonny Swayze of Benton; by three sisters, Lennie Buie of Gifford, Janet Covington of Tennessee, and Jean Pilcher of Malvern; by two grandchildren, Jr. Wesolowski and Tony Tiernan; and by eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Tullos was also preceded in death by her daughter, Pat Wesolowski, and by seven brothers and sisters. Her funeral will be held at the graveside in Leau Fraiz Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon, August 15, 2007 at three o'clock with Brother Fred Etheridge officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will Tony Tiernan, Jr. Wesolowski, James Wesolowski, and Ray Shields.

The family will receive friends at J. A. Funk Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from five until seven o'clock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Odyssey Hospice, 3634 Central Avenue, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71913.
