Bobbie Linnes Thrash Brown, age 89 of Malvern, passed away on Tuesday evening, May 8, 2018 in Hot Springs. She was born on November 5, 1928 in Glenwood, Arkansas to the late Hardy Thrash and Rene Foshee Thrash. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Walter Henry (Buddy) Brown, her brother, Edward Thrash, and three sisters--Florene Norris, Erma Gray, and Devoy Collier.

Bobbie was a faithful member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Malvern and loved her time volunteering at the Senior Adult Center. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and spent many hours following her grandchildren's sports teams. Members of the teams lovingly called her "Granny Brown".

She is survived by her son, Keith (Teresa) Brown of Benton, three daughters-Ann (Ronnie) Kerr, Mary (Randy) Morgan, and Gail (Frank) McClure, all of Hot Springs-eight grandchildren-Paige (Steve) Smith of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Ellen (Matt) Hillis of Fayetteville, Matt (Katrina) Morgan of Phoenix, Arizona, Sarah McClure of New York, Katie (Nick) Bartelt of Bentonville, and Ross (Aimee) Brown, Rob (Katie) Brown, and Russell Brown, all of Benton-nine great-grandchildren, and a number of beloved nieces and nephews. The family would like to express appreciation to her friends and caregivers at the home she loved, The Crossing.

Visitation will be on Friday afternoon, May 11, 2018 from one o'clock until two o'clock at Emmanuel Baptist Church, immediately followed by the funeral service. Brother Eli Maynard will officiate. Private family interment will follow at Rockport Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
