Bobbie Jackson Stewart, age 77, of Nixa, Missouri, died Sunday, July 18, 2021, in Springfield, Missouri. She was born in Malvern, Arkansas on June 27, 1944, to the late Sam Jackson and Merle Sulton Jackson. Reared and educated in the Central and Malvern school districts, she graduated from Malvern high School. She got her degree from Henderson State University and was a public school teacher and administrator for 40 years in the Willard school district, a suburb of Springfield, Missouri. Bobbie was a member of the Nixa Assembly of God Church. She was the widow of the late James William Stewart, to whom she was married on April 6, 1963, in Malvern. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2016.
She is survived by a daughter, Candace Stewart Eggert of Springfield, Missouri; two brothers, Russell Jackson and his wife, Kaye of Malvern, and Gary Jackson and his wife, Judy of Little Rock; and a granddaughter, Taylor Eggert.
Bobbie was also preceded in death by her nephew, Chris Jackson, and an aunt, Charlotte Marlin.
Graveside services at Cypress Cemetery at Willow will be held at eleven o'clock Thursday morning, July 22, 2021, with Brother Cass Ledbetter officiating, and under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
Visitation at the cemetery will begin at ten-thirty.
