Bobby Ross Beason, age 70 of Malvern, died Saturday morning in the St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs. He was born in Malvern on September 9, 1938 to the late Ross and Floye Wright Beason. Reared and educated in Malvern, Bobby retired from Malvern National Bank in 2003 as Senior Vice President and Loan Officer after 48 years of service. He was a tennis player, a cyclist, and a competitive runner. Bobby was a member of Second Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Louella Orr Beason, to whom he was married on May 24, 1958 in Malvern; by his son Rod Alan Beason and his wife, Carolina, of Overland Park, Kansas; by his daughter, Kelly Michelle Beason of Benton; by his grandsons, Alex K. Walls, Steven Ryan McDaniel and Henry G. Beason; and by a granddaughter, Sophia F. Beason. Bobby also leaves behind his wonderful pets that gave him so much love and companionship: Snoopy, Missy, Jack, Benji, Angel, and Keegan.

There will be no funeral service, but the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon from two until four o'clock.
