C. F. "Chuck" Stewart, 69, of Malvern, lost his battle with cancer on June 10, 2011. He was born to Connie and Floya Stewart on November 28, 1941 in Rolla, Arkansas.
He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Essex golf course. He was also a member of the Keeneys coffee club. Mr. Stewart served 16 years in the United States Navy. Mr. Stewart was member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of almost 42 years, Ruby Gage Stewart, two daughters, Leigha (George) Balding of Traskwood and Rhonda (Brent) Duck of Poyen and one son, James Shuffield (Robin) Stewart of Poyen; two Brothers, James Williams (Bobby) Stewart of Nixa, Missouri and Norman Lee (Sammy) of Camp Robinson; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, brother Charles Robert and nephew Kenneth Lee Stewart.
His funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with Brother John Owen officiating.
Mr. Stewart requests that friends and family dress casual.
Pallbearers will be: Guy Collins, Sam Hedges, Harbour, Rick Varnell, Rick Blair and Chuck Davis.
Visitation will take place Sunday, June 12, 2011 in the chapel of J.A. Funk Funeral Home from 6 to 8 o'clock.
