Charlene Denise Dodd Williams, age 54 of Malvern, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Malvern on August 28, 1958 to Mary Clements Dodd and the late Charles W. Dodd. Reared and educated in Malvern, she was a member of Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church. For most of her working life, Charlene was a laborer. She had been a forklift operator as well as a bus driver. She loved going to flea markets and hunting for antiques.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Mary C. and Alvin Nichols of Traskwood; by three children, Megan Bennett, Melissa Manning (Adam), and Matthew Williams, all of Malvern; two brothers, Ronnie Vann and David Vann; one sister, Cindy Byrd, all of Malvern; and seven grandchildren, Maggie Manning, Alex Bennett, Grace Bennett, Dewey Williams, Hannah Manning, Faith Bennett, and Levi Williams.

Charlene was also preceded in death by the father of her children, Dewey Williams.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday afternoon, November 8, 2012, at five o'clock, in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Brother Todd Bray officiating. The eulogy will be delivered by Jim Clements. Charlene chose cremation as her final disposition.

The family will be headquartered at 5505 Hwy 229 in Traskwood, Arkansas.
