Charles Gordon Horne, Jr. age 57 of Malvern, died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at his home. He was born in Malvern on December 15, 1951 to the late Charles G. Sr. and Margaret Davis Horne. Reared and educated in Malvern, he was a Baptist and a veteran of the Viet Nam era. He had been employed as a reel operator at the Reynolds Rolling Mill. Mr. Horne was an avid hunter and loved to ride his Harley.

He is survived by a daughter, Miranda Buchanan of Gravel Ridge, Arkansas; by a son, Brian Horne of Malvern; and by three grandchildren, Taylor Horne, Macy Horne, and Makenzy Horne.

Mr. Horne was also preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Gail Horne and Beverly Downie.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home on Saturday morning, November 21, 2009, at ten o'clock.
