Christine "Bootsie" Taylor, age 75 of Malvern, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at Baptist Health Medical Center Little Rock. She was born in Conway County, the daughter of the late W.T. and Athleen Crites. She was married to the late Thomas Taylor on July 4, 1958. She worked for the Malvern School District for more than 35 years, and attended church at North Malvern Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brothers Edward Crites and Johnny Crites; sister-in-laws Christine Beasley and Bea Stratton; and nephew Robby Sebren.

Survivors include her son, Dale (Betty) of Malvern; grandsons, Reagan (Karen) and Steven (Holly) of Malvern; great-grandchildren, Ava and Griffin; brothers, Ben and Ricky (Dottie) of Malvern; sisters, Roxie Alston (Bill), Edith Ryan (Willard), and Kathryn Sebren (Freddy), all of Malvern; brother-in-law, Shelton Taylor (Margaret) of Malvern; sister-in-laws Jeanette Crites and Brenda Crites of Malvern; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Monday, June 1, 2015 from 6-8 PM at J.A. Funk Funeral Home in Malvern. Funeral service is Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 10 AM at J.A. Funk Funeral Home, with Bro. Glenn Alston and Bro. Keith Pennington officiating. Burial will follow at Rockport Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Reagan Taylor, Steven Taylor, Gary Alston, Bryan Crites, Trey Jones, and Gene West. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Crites and Shane Lindsey. A special thank you to the nurses of the SICU at Baptist Health Medical Center Little Rock, Chaplain Roxane, and Dr. Mary J.
