Cora Lee Ewing, age 78, of Malvern, died May 29, 2011 at her home in Malvern. She was born on January 15, 1933 in Hot Springs County to the late Harry and Eva Otts . Cora was a loving and supportive homemaker and grandmother, who gave all to her family. She loved to travel with her husband Truman, who was a musician. They were married for 58 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Cora is survived by sisters; Clodell Herrington, Opal Rimmer, Shirley Murberger and Irene Roark and her brother, Bobby Otts; Children, Tommy Ewing and his wife Kathy of Benton, and Janie and Marvin Samons of Malvern; Grandchildren, Deanna Baker of Malvern, Jennifer and Tim Miller of Malvern and Travis Ewing of Benton. Cora also is survived by two great grandchildren Cierra Baker and Amythyst Miller.

She was preceded in death her husband Truman E. Ewing; Brothers, Ollie Otts and Delton Otts and Sisters, Robbie Fite, Nodie Goodman and Odell Otts.

Her funeral will be held in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at ten o'clock, with Robert Ewing and Doctor David Kenser officiating. One of Cora's favorite poems will be read by her granddaughter, Jennifer Miller. Interment will follow in Fairplay Cemetery.

The visitation will be on Tuesday at 5 o'clock till 7 at the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Eugene Beasley, Ernie Wright, Mike Reynolds, Travis Ewing, Randy Murberger, Tommy Baker and Tim Miller.
