Corine Key Doddridge, age 84 of Malvern, died Monday, September 1, 2025 in Hot Springs.  She was born on November 22, 1940 in Gurdon, Arkansas, to the late Virgil Sidney Key and Trebia Corine Coon Key.  Reared and receiving her early education in Whelen Springs, Gurdon, and Arkadelphia, Arkansas, she later attended Bossier City Junior College in Bossier City, Louisiana.  She began her career as a waitress; later an airline stewardess; moved on to commercial banking at several locations; worked in the tax collector's office in Hot Spring County for a number of years; and upon the death of her husband, became a caregiver until her own health began to fade.  Corine loved to travel the world with family and friends, and was a huge fan of the New Orleans Saints.  She enjoyed going to the Malvern Senior Center, where she was on the Bean Bag Baseball team.

She was a member of Keith Memorial United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and attended the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class.  Corine married Arthur Doddridge on June 5, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He preceded her in death on March 10, 2007.

Her survivors include her siblings, Bonnie Beals of Gurdon and Don Key and his wife, Barbara, of Sheridan; grandchildren, Josh and Jacque Jenkins; step-children, Jimmy Doddridge of Atlanta, Georgia, and Debbie Atristain of Texas; three step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews; and great-great-nieces and -nephews.

Corine was also preceded in death by her son, Jeff Jenkins; brother and sister-in-law Carlee and  Brenda Key; sister and brother-in-law, Sue Key Black and David Black; brother-in-law, Wayne Beals; and nephew, Rodney Black.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday afternoon, September 6, 2025, at 2:00, in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Traskwood Cemetery.

A visitation will precede the service by one hour, beginning at 1:00.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.
