Daniel Thomas Ouellette, Sr., age 84 of Malvern, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at his home.  He was born on July 23, 1940, in Presque Isle, Maine, to the late Chanel Joseph Ouellette and Ernestine LaChance Ouellette. Reared and receiving his early education in Connecticut, he graduated from Bridgeport (Connecticut) High School with the class of 1958.  He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Ouellette worked for many years for Northeastern Gas and Electric. He had been a resident of Malvern for 30 years.  Mr. Ouellette was the widower of the late Joyce Matis Ouellette, to whom he was married on October 27, 1962, in Brewster, New York.  She preceded him in death on July 20, 2021.  He was a handyman, able to fix anything; and had a keen interest in history and world events.  Mr. Ouellette was Catholic.

Survivors include his sons, Dan Ouellette, Jr. and his wife Tammy, and Jeffrey Ouellette, all of Malvern; and Charlie Cole and his wife, Alysa, of Conway, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Jeffrey, Danielle, Carissa, and Shelby; six great-grandchildren, Zander, Cecilia, Ethan, Ella, Emmalynn, and Theodore; a sister, Leslie Miklus of Connecticut; brother-in-law, Jack Matis of Malvern; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ouellette was also preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Danielle Cole.

A private family gathering will be held and his ashes will be interred next to his wife, Joyce, in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
