Deanna June Canady, age 83 of Malvern, died Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Encore Healthcare and Rehab.  She was born on June 13, 1939, in Jamestown, Arkansas to the late Walter Bachman and Edith Marie Mitchell Bachman.  Reared and educated in Desha, Arkansas, she had been a resident of Malvern since 1980.  She was a homemaker and the widow of the late John E. Canady, to whom she was married on august 9, 1960 in Festus, Missouri.  He preceded her in death on April 25, 2011.  Mrs. Canady was a member of the Jamestown Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Michael Edward Canady and his wife, Stacey of Springdale; her daughter, Cheryl Overton and her husband Todd of Malvern; a sister, Betty Bufford of Desha; and a grandson, Todd Michael Overton and his wife, Desiree.

Mrs. Canady was also preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Michael Overton, and a sister, Shirley Waldene Floyd.

Graveside services will be at ten o'clock on Tuesday morning, June 21, 2022, at Kyler Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
