Debra Kay Carroll, age 55 of Malvern, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017. She was born on March 5, 1962 in San Jose, California to the late William Earl Nicholson and Joyce Averett Nicholson. Reared and educated in California, she had been a resident of central Arkansas since the early 1980's. For most of her working life, she was in customer service in the hospitality industry. She was an avid deer hunter and loved to fish. Debra was a Christian.

She is survived by her companion, Mike Teale of Malvern; a brother, Gary Nicholson of Bryant; half brother, Robert Wagnon of Santa Rosa, California; two sisters, Lynda Nicholson of Atkins, Arkansas and Laurie Nicholson of California; a half sister, Christine Manning of Arbuckle, California; four sons, Larry Benjamin Barnett of Montana, James Coston, Jeremy Coston, and Jerod Coston, all of Magnet Cove; by three grandchildren, and her poodle, Tinkerbell.

The family will have a private gathering at a later date.
