She is survived by her husband, Wayne Stone, to whom she was married on July 21, 1981 in Donaldson, Arkansas; by a son, Ken Sams of Malvern; a daughter, Sherry Tackel of Austin, Texas; by step-children, Garry Stone of Glen Rose, and Vickie Williamson of DeQueen; by five sisters, Clella White, Jeanette Smith, and Neva Gordon, all of Cabot, Arkansas, Billie Sue Lawman of Wynne, Arkansas, and Audrey Plummer of Dallas; by three brothers, Richard Warren of Wynne, Jim Warren of Little Rock, and James Clinton Bailey of Seattle, Washington; and by two grandchildren, Ryan Houston Sams and Tristan Allen Brown.
Delma was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vanessa Sams.
A visitation will be held at J. A. Funk Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, August 9, 2011, from six until eight o'clock.
Her funeral will be at ten o'clock Wednesday morning at the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Brothers Bernard Strother and Kenneth Bray officiating. Interment will follow in Lono Cemetery .
Pallbearers will be: Marshall Tanner, Garry Stone, Wayne Bechel, Paul Gustavson, Doug Pittman, Brice Mitchell, and Orlan Wiley, III.
Honorary pallbearers will be: John and Bill Warren, Charlie Porter, and Dr. Bruce Burton.
Memorials may be made to Landmark Missionary Baptist Church 1213 Babcock Street , Malvern , AR 72104 .
