Delores Marie "Dee" Wingo, age 61, of Malvern, died Tuesday morning, June 15, 2021, at her home.  She was born in Malvern on March 3, 1960, to the late Walter K. Funk and Gwendolyn Walton Funk.  Reared and educated in Malvern, she had worked in customer service for Wal Mart for a number of years.  Dee was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.  She loved to crochet and was a doting grandmother.

Dee is survived by her children, Dr. Chris Nelson and his wife, Piper of Malvern; Joey Nelson and his wife, Dana of Hot Springs; and Dylan Wingo; her sister, Janet Medlin and her husband, Trent of Malvern; four grandchildren, Grant, Noah, Breeze, and Lyric Nelson; and by two special friends, Tonia Hicks and Jasper Kemp.

The family will receive friends at J. A. Funk Funeral Home on Friday morning, June 18, 2021, beginning at ten o'clock, followed by the funeral service beginning at eleven o'clock.  Brother Donis Smead will officiate.  Interment will be in Lono Cemetery.

Pallbearers are:  Trace Medlin, Jasper Kemp, Trent Medlin, Doug Medlin, Mitchell Johnson, Travis Myrick, and Zane Heslin.
