Dianne Norwood Dixson, age 56 of Malvern, died Friday evening, March 29, 2013 in the Hot Spring County Medical Center. She was born in Malvern on January 7, 1957 to the late James Kenneth Norwood and Virginia Ann Freeman Norwood. Reared and educated in Malvern, she was a homemaker and attended the Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers, and loved visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Wayne Dyer (Candy), and Ivan Lee Dixson of Malvern; six brothers, James Ricky Norwood (Dovie), David Lee Norwood, Larry Wayne Norwood (Donna), Phillip Dale Norwood, Kenneth Matthew Norwood, and Joseph Dean Norwood (Rhonda), all of Malvern; five sisters, Phyllis Ann Fite (Chuck), Rebecca Lynn Lewis, Mary Lisa Threlkeld (Darren), and Melonie Gail Lewis (Everett), all of Malvern, and Sheila Kaye Draper (Keith) of Donaldson; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Dianne was also preceded in death by a son, Allen Dale Dyer, and by two brothers, Terry Paul Norwood and Timothy Randall Norwood.

Graveside services will be held on Monday afternoon, April 1, 2013 at two o'clock in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery off Highway 222, with Brother Jerry George officiating and under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
