Donald Edward Davy "Don", age 60 of Malvern, passed Wednesday, March 29, 2023 as the result of a motorcycle accident.  He was born in Cook County, Illinois on July 21, 1962, to the late Edward Davy and Betty Testory Davy.  Reared and educated in Southern Illinois, he graduated from Frankfort Community High School (West Frankfort). He had been a resident of Malvern since 1995.  Don was a U.S. Army veteran of the 2 ^nd battalion, 320 ^th Field Artillery Regiment in 101 ^st Airborne Division as a cannon fire direction specialist. He was a painter for over 45 years, he owned/operated Davy Painting in Malvern for over 25 years.  A Loyal Order of Moose member for 40 years, served as President of the Malvern Moose Lodge, and received Community Hero Award in 2014 and Moose of the year in 2016.  He was a member of the Arkansas Chapter, Veteran Bikers M.C.  Don attended Freewill Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Daniel Davy.  Don is survived by his wife of 31 years, Terri Davy whom he married October 29, 1991, in Paducah, Kentucky.  His children, Chris Miller (Nancy) of Monterey, CA, Christiana Evans (Patrick) of Malvern, and John Edward Davy (Kayla) of Paducah; grandchildren Makayla Miller, Madison Johnson, Jaycee Parrish, Christopher Miller Jr., Jocelyn Parrish, Jon Henry Evans, and John Edward Davy, II; and all the honorary grandchildren that called him "Poppy", and by a brother, Russell Davy (Lisa) of Branson, MO. A memorial service will be held on Saturday morning, April 1, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Brother Ron Hutson officiating.  Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army Honor Guard.
