Dot
Paladino
Apr 9, 1931 — Apr 5, 2022
Dorothea "Dot" Paladino, age 90, of Malvern, died Tuesday, April 5, 2022, in the Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was born on April 9, 1931, in Adams, Wisconsin to the late Edward Frolik and Bernice Wrchota Frolik. Reared and educated in Wisconsin, she had been a Malvern resident since 1975. Dot was the widow of the late Pete Paladino, to whom she was married on July 21, 1956, in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2022. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Malvern, where, for many years, she played the organ for services. Dot was very organized: her home was meticulously kept, all her files were in perfect order, her closets and all storage were neatly arranged. There was a place for everything, and everything had its place. A loving wife, mother, and friend, Dot touched many lives, and was a positive influence on countless people. She loved to do needle point, collected spoons, and enjoyed playing piano.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Strenkowski (Geoff Galvan) of Katy, Texas; and by her two grandsons, Pete and Andy Strenkowski.
Dot was also preceded in death by a sister, Marcella Frolik Aleccia, and a brother, Robert Frolik.
Her funeral will be held on Friday afternoon, April 8, 2022, at two o'clock, in the chapel of J.A. Funk Funeral Home, with Father Samy officiating. Private entombment will be in the Rockport Memorial Gardens mausoleum.
