Douglas M. Saling, age 60 of Malvern, died unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, June 22, 2021, at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton.  He was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on March 7, 1961, to the late Huey P. Saling and Myrtle Burks Saling.  Reared and educated in California, he had been a resident of Malvern since 1976.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and working on his hotrods.  Doug had been a truck driver and worked with his brother in the construction business.  He was a Baptist by denomination.

He is survived by his partner and companion of many years, Dyka Lusinger; by his brother and sister-in-law Roy and Mary Jo Saling of Rockport; his daughter, Amber Ledford; and his grandson Ty Echols.

Doug was also preceded in death by two brothers, Huey P. Saling, Jr., and Gary Odell Saling.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday morning, June 26, 2021, at eleven o'clock in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Brother Scott Efird officiating.
