Feb 1, 1936 — Jul 12, 2025
Traskwood
Elizabeth Clements Sharp Lovell, age 89 of Traskwood, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at her home. She was born on February 1, 1936 in Malvern to the late Jim Clements and Irene Manning Clements. Reared and receiving her early education in Malvern, she later attended Henderson State Teacher's College (now Henderson State University), earning her Master's Degree in Special Education. Mrs. Lovell taught for 30 years at the Arkansas Human Development Center in Arkadelphia. She was a member of Gospel Light Church. Mrs. Lovell had a green thumb: she grew beautiful flowers that adorned her yard every season. The showplace she created with her blooms drew compliments from everyone fortunate enough to behold their beauty.
She is survived by her sons, James Sharp (Carol) of Traskwood, and Duane Sharp (Renee) of Long Beach, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica, Jennifer, Jordan, McKenzie, Austin, and Valerie; and by 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lovell was also preceded in death by two husbands, Orvin Sharp and George Lovell; by a daughter, Melody Sharp Womack; a son, David Sharp; and by two siblings, Mary Nichols and Jim Clements.
There will be a graveside memorial service held at 10:00 Saturday morning, September 27, 2025 in the Traskwood Cemetery.
