Erroll E. McIntire, age 85, of Malvern, died Wednesday evening, July 15, 2015 in Hot Springs. He was born on March 7, 1930 in Medford, Oregon to the late James Roy McIntire and Jesse Leach McIntire. Reared and educated in Medford, he had been a resident of Malvern since 1993. Mr. McIntire was a self-employed logger and truck driver for over fifty years. A Baptist by denomination, he was a past member of the B. P. O. E. He was the widower of the late Wilma Cave Pierce McIntire, to whom he was married on March 28, 1958 in Reno, Nevada. She preceded him in death in February of this year.

He is survived by his children, James Travis Pierce (Donna Ray), Clay Edward Pierce (Donna Kay), of Malvern; Erroll Edwin McIntire, Jr. (Phyllis), Crescent City, California,, Judy Paulette Gilbert (Greg), Oregon, Charlotte Rochelle McIntire, Richmond, California, Velda Fay Cowgill (David), Grants Pass, Oregon, and Debra Kay Young, Medford, Oregon; grandchildren, Tracy Pierce (Sheri), Shane Pierce (Joy), James Erroll Pierce, Cathy Orta (Robert), Gina Birmingham (Steve), Jarrett Paul Bean (Teresa), Veronica Hammond , Michael McIntire, Corey McIntire (Debbie), James Vansant, and Omar Nagie; 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Mr. McIntire was also preceded in death by his siblings, Mildred Marie Blalock, Newell Dean McIntire, Gladys McIntire, and James Roy McIntire.

His funeral will be at ten o'clock Saturday morning, July 18, 2015 in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral with Brother Donis Smead officiating. Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery at Brown Springs. A visitation will precede the service by one hour, beginning at nine o'clock.

The family would like to acknowledge the loving care given to Mr. McIntire by the staff at The Crossing and the staff at the Higginbotham Clinic.
