Lindsey
Dec 19, 1957 — Jun 19, 2024
Malvern
Faith Elaine Lindsey, age 66 of Malvern, died unexpectedly on Wedensday, June 19, 2024 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born on December 19, 1957 in Sullivan, Indiana to the late Lloyd Shear and Irene Wynn Shear. Faith was reared and educated in Indiana, graduating high school on May 23, 1976. She had been a resident of Malvern since June, 2012. Faith was the widow of the late James "Cheesey" Lindsey, to whom she was married on June 12, 1997. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2020. Faith had worked in the food service industry for a number of years, but volunteerism was her strongsuit. She gave generously to causes close to her heart, which included her desire to help food insecure folks. She had an energy about her that rubbed off on people, piquing their enthusiasm to help those less fortunate. Faith loved her family and friends deeply.
She is survived by her daugher, Elisha "Summer" Harrison (Eric) of Texas; 8 grandchildren, Alphie Smith, Elijah Harrison, Mason Harrison, Amber Evans, Lyndsey Stevens, Daniel Stevens, Bryan Stevens, and Josalyn Stevens; a brother, Gary Shear of Illinois; daughter-in-law, Brianne Stevens; sister-in-law, Bonnie Sue Weber (Bill) of New Jersey, and many friends.
Faith was also preceded in death by two sons, Darrell Morgan and Jeremiah Stevens, and a brother, Monty Shear.
Her funeral will be held at ten o'clock Wednesday morning, June 26, 2024, in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with interment to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
