Georgann Marsh, age 95 of Malvern, died Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Southern Grace Residential Care.  She was born on July 10, 1927, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late James Cole and Mabel McDonald Cole.  Reared and educated in Oklahoma, she attended the University of Oklahoma.  Georgann met the love of her life, Jeff Roland Marsh, and they were married in 1948.  He served as a United Methodist minister for 45 years and was also a Navy Chaplain.  Reverend Marsh preceded her in death in 2009.  She moved with her family to Malvern that year and joined First United Methodist Church.  A former member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, she was an avid reader, loved to play cards, especially bridge, and enjoyed bird watching.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Debbie Marsh of Malvern; two grandchildren, Eric Roland Marsh (Sarah) and Lindsay Anne Marsh (Billy McIntosh); five great-grandchildren, Eva and Austin, Allison, Matthew, and Isaiah.

Georgann was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Nelson, and a brother, James Cole, Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday afternoon, December 18, 2022, at two o'clock, in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Conrad officiating.
