Glenn A. Baker, age 84 of Oak Grove, died Thursday, February 12, 2026, at his home.  He was born in Camden, Arkansas, on November 28, 1941, to the late Emery Baker and Virgie V. Jones Baker. He had been a resident of this area since 1986.  Mr. Baker worked for Cactus International as an offshore electrician for most of his career.  He was an active member of the Malvern Moose Lodge.  He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by his children, Cody Baker and his wife, Cara, of Keller, Texas; Deacon Baker, Andy Baker, and Vickie Baker-Thomas (James), all of Charleston, South Carolina; a brother, Ed Baker of California; three grandchildren, Beau, Brock, and Emily; and by two great-grandchildren, Brooks and Harris.

Mr. Baker was also preceded in death by five siblings, C. W. Baker, Bo Baker, Ralph Baker, Bea Porterfield, and Bonnie Sue Garrett.

At his request, there will be no services.  He will be interred on the family plot in Delamar Cemetery in Dallas County.
