Obituary

Harold Lloyd Casey, age 78 of Hot Springs, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at his home. He was born on May 23, 1932 in Mt. Ida, Arkansas to the late Hermus C. and Donna Mae Hulsey Casey. Reared and educated in Mt. Ida and Joplin, he was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Casey worked for many years as a steel worker in the saw mill industry. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local 7972. Mr. Casey was a Protestant and was the widower of the late Lucille Murders Case

Survivors include: six sons, Waymon and Roy Edmonds, Ted, Darrell, Leslie, and Doyle Casey, all of Hot Springs; two daughters, Donna and Regina Haddox, both of Norman; a brother, Richard Casey of Bonnerdale; three sisters, Villa Lillard of Russellville, Nina Louton of Hot Springs, and Margie Anderson of California; 25 grandchildren, numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from five until seven o'clock Thursday evening, November 4, 2010 at J. A. Funk Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 Friday afternoon at The Church of Jesus Name, 103 Cherry Street, Hot Springs, with Brother Jerry Stewart officiating, and with the Thaddeus Carraway Post #2278 providing military honors.
