Irene Nutt, age 95 of Malvern, died Tuesday evening, November 29, 2011 in the Arbor Oaks Health and Rehab. She was born in Hot Spring County on June 1, 1916 to the late Steve Wilson and Betty Cranford Wilson. Reared and educated in Hot Spring County, she was a homemaker and the widow of the late Newton Nutt, to whom she was married on June 22, 1931. He preceded her in death in 1986. Mrs. Nutt was a member of the Damascus Missionary Baptist Church .

She is survived by two sons, Harold Dean Nutt and Bobby Nutt of Sesser , Illinois ; three daughters, Ruby Brown (Bill) of North Little Rock , Mary Boshears (Robert) of Bismarck, and Joyce Ann Vaughan of Malvern; 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and two more great-greats- on the way.

Mrs. Nutt was also preceded in death by two sisters, six brothers, two sons, James and Richard Nutt, two grandchildren, Steven and Leticia Nutt, and a son-in-law, Dr. John A. Vaughan.

A graveside service will be held at two o'clock Thursday afternoon, December 1, 2011 in the Damascus Cemetery with Brother Vance Nutt officiating. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 12:45 p.m. at J. A. Funk Funeral Home.

Her grandsons will be pallbearers.
