Jaeson Dewayne Riggan, age 54 of Benton, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Malvern.  He was born on Feburary 16, 1967 in Greenville, Mississippi to Jewell Riggan and Vickie Echols Riggan.  His early childhood was spent in Romeoville, Illinois, before moving to Malvern, where he was a resident for over 40 years.  The last eight months of his life were spent in Benton.  An auto mechanic by trade, he earned himself the nickname "Slim". Jaeson joined Americorp to be of service to his fellowman, and, for at least ten years, Jaeson was a tutor for READ, a part of the Hot Spring County Literacy Council, where he helped many people in the advancement of their vocations.  He was an avid biker and a member of the Misfits Motorcycle Club, along with his best friend, Ralph Huth, whom he called "Chug"; his cousin Jimmy Murburger, and several other bikers.

He is survived by his daughter, Dawnielle Riggan Hughes and her husband, Dallas, of Benton; his sons, Devin Riggan and his wife, Emily; Arron Riggan and David Guess, all of Malvern; spouse, Patricia Goff Riggan of Malvern; a sister, Heather McNees Clardy of Seattle, Washington; a brother, Heath McNees of Bradenton, Florida; three grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Macey Hughes, Timothy Riggan, and Stephen "Reid" Riggan; his mother, Vickie McNees, and his father, Jewell Riggan, both of Malvern.

Jaeson was also preceded in death by a sister, Dawnyiel McNees.

As per Jaeson's wishes, there will be no services at this time. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the American Lung Association and the Hot Spring County Literacy Council.
