Jim "Juice" Coolis, age 61 of Malvern, died Friday, October 25, 2024, in Hot Springs.  He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on December 4, 1962 to Charles V. Coolis and Evelyn D. Arnold Coolis.  He grew up in Connecticut and worked for the town of Stratford from the age of 16 until he was 36.  He has been a resident of Malvern since 2017.  Jim was  Catholic.  He was a worker, whether it was mowing lawns for others or giving "advice", he stayed busy.  An avid Cowboys fan, he loved NASCAR, he loved to gamble, and was a regular at Ray's Bar and Grill and the Village Pub in Stratford, Connecticut.  Jim was fond of gameshows and foul language, he loved watching slasher movies.  He was an honest person unless he was playing a board game--he would find ways to cheat!   Jim could be rough on the outside, but was really "pudding" on the inside.  If he liked you, you knew it.  If he didn't, you certainly knew that as well!  He had a sentimental side to him and loved his family and close friends.

He is survived by his siblings, Kathy Coolis, Karen "Short" Coolis Desautels, Steven M. Coolis, Sr., and Larry Haase; several nieces and nephews, and too many great-nieces and -nephews to list.  Jim also leaves behind special family members, Dennis, Day, Charlie Ann, Victoria, and Jeffrey.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles "Charlie" Coolis.
