James Wallace Tubberville, age 62 of Prattsville, died Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Little Rock. He was born in Hot Springs on June 4, 1954 to the late Raymond Tubberville and Mamie Garner Tubberville. Reared and educated in Malvern, he worked as a concrete processer for a number of years. James enjoyed taking care of his dogs, going fishing, and watching old western movies.

He is survived by his brothers, Horace Tubberville (Ursula) of Germany, Darrell Tubberville, Steven Freeman, Michael Freeman (Carolyn), and Bruce Freeman, all of Malvern; his sister, Norma Anderson (Tim) of Hot Springs, his brother-in-law, George Wilson of Prattsville, and his rat terrier, D. D.

James was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Tubberville and Mitchell Freeman; two sisters, Wanda Tubberville and Polly Tubberville Wilson; and his beloved rat terriers, Penny and P. J.

His funeral will be ten o'clock Tuesday morning, November 1, 2016 in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Brothers Billy Thomason and Don Goodman officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oak Bower Cemetery near Bismarck.

Pallbearers will be Colby Snow, David Wilson, Wyatt Wilson, Steven Anderson, Toby Wilson, and Bob Daniels.

The family will be at George Wilson's residence, 501 Grant #37, Prattsville.
