Janice Pierce, age 77, of Malvern, died Sunday, November 21, 2010 in the Hot Spring County Medical Center. She was born in Cedar Glades, Arkansas on August 28, 1933 to the late Gerald and Cora Williams Golden. Reared and educated in Hot Spring County, she was the retired owner of Jan's Health Store, which she operated for 30 years. She was a Baptist and the widow of the late Bill Pierce, to whom she was married on August 19, 1951 in Buckville , Arkansas . Janice loved to garden and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by a daughter, Janice Pierce and her friend, Larry Minney of Hot Springs; by two brothers, Eugene Golden and Mike Golden, both of Malvern; by a sister Ina Morris of Houston, Texas; and by her dog, Paris.

Janice was also preceded in death by her son, Milton Pierce, and a sister, Helen Tafelski.

There will be no services.
