Jared Zane Rhodes, age 26 of Traskwood, died as a result of a motor vehicle accident early on Thursday morning, April 16, 2026.  He was born in Little Rock on May 29, 1999, to Rick Rhodes and Tonya Ford Rhodes.  Reared and educated in the Glen Rose School District, Jared was about to finish his studies to become a journeyman electrician. He was a Christian.  Jared was a loving father to his two children, Gatlin Zane Rhodes and Oakley Jade Rhodes.  He loved doing anything outdoors, especially if it was with his dad and his brother, Jacob.

He leaves behind his children, Gatlin Zane Rhodes and Oakley Jade Rhodes; his parents, Rick and Tonya Rhodes; his brother and sister-in-law, Jacob and Emily Rhodes; the mother of his children, Jacey Cox; and many friends and family members who are grieving his untimely loss.

Jared's funeral will be on Tuesday afternoon, April 21, 2026, at 2:00, in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Brother Ian Kumpe officiating.  Interment will follow in Caddo Valley Cemetery.

A visitation will precede the service, beginning at 1:00.

Pallbearers will be: Rick Rhodes, Jacob Rhodes, Alex Rhodes, Cody Hixon, Matt Culverson, and Woody Perry.
