Jason
Hollingsworth
May 5, 1970 — May 3, 2024
Hot Springs
Jason Hollingsworth, age 53 of Hot Springs, died Friday, May 3, 2024. He was born on May 5, 1970 in Little Rock to Ed Hollingsworth and to Terry Milsap Hollingsworth. Reared and educated in Magnet Cove and Hot Springs, Jason ran his own tree-trimming business, Tree Frog Tree Service. He was an avid fisherman and loved to watch and play football. He had played for the NAFL Rhinos, a semi-pro football team. Dad and Mom Sherri were always his number 1 fans. Jason was a Christian and was happy to share his belief with anyone. During his illness, he got his strength through faith. He used the phrase "Proclaim the Name" to witness to those who may be lost. Jason knew that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords watched over him. That gives comfort to his family and friends as they deal with his physical absence.
He is survived by his parents, Ed and Sherri Hollingsworth of Malvern; his mother, Terry Hollingsworth of Hot Springs; two sons, Hunter and Archer Hollingsworth of Hot Springs; two daughters, Hayley Hollingsworth of Hot Springs, and Hannah Jessup of Jonesboro; a grandchild, Kingstyn Hollingsworth; two brothers, Mike Hollingsworth (Katie) of Bauxite, and Charlie Hollingsworth (Sarah) of Malvern; aunts, Cindy Clarkson (Gary) and Gail Simmons; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends that meant the world to Jason.
Special thanks go to Arkansas Hospice and to Jason's best friend, Tammy Dodd; aunts Gail Simmons, Cindy Clarkson, and sister-in-law, Sarah Hollingsworth.
A memorial service will be held at one o'clock Saturday afternoon, May 11, 2024 in the Highland Street Revival Church in Hot Springs. A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests you plant a tree in memory of Jason.
