Obituary

Jeanette M. Collie, age 82 of Malvern, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, in the Malvern Nursing and Rehab. She was born in the Big Creek Community on June 15, 1930 to the late William Bert Price and Rachel Cunningham Price. She was reared and received her education in Grant and Hot Spring County. Jeanette was a homemaker and the widow of the late Harold Collie, to whom she was married on April 26, 1946 in Malvern. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2012. She was a member of the Fairhaven Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Ronnie Collie and his wife, Barbara, of Malvern, Gary Collie and his wife, Anna, of Longview, Texas; a sister, Lovie Stuckey and her husband, L. T. of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Stephanie Collie Boles and her husband, Darrell, Cheryl Collie Thornton and her husband, Kevin, and Brian Collie and his wife Melissa; her great-grandchildren, Matthew and Lucas Collie; Sydney, Chloe, Caleb, Shelby, and Noah Thornton; Madison, Makenzie, and Morgan Craft; Joseph, Kyle and Bailey Wright; several nieces and nephews, and her caregivers, Rebie Block and Beverly Tippens.

Her funeral will be at ten o'clock Friday morning, December 14, 2012 in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Brother Donis Smead officiating. Interment will follow in Big Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Kevin Thornton, Brian Collie, Darrell Boles, Clay Pierce, Larry Jester, Larry Langley, Gary Ryan, and David Vann.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening from six until eight o'clock.

The family will be at 1513 Pinehurst Drive following the burial.
