Jessie Mae Moore, age 72 of Malvern, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at her home. She was born in Hot Springs on November 26, 1940 to the late Lester Dennis and Daisy Viola Graham Dennis. Reared and educated in Marked Tree, Arkansas, she had been a resident of Malvern for 20 years. She was the wife of Reverend Wayne Moore, to whom she was married on July 2, 1993 in Perryville, Arkansas.

Jessie was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Edgar Dennis, Fred Robbins, Marvin Robbins, Jim Robbins, Bill Robbins, Leroy Robbins, Johnny Lou Robbins, and Ola Mae Dennis Bodiford.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne, of Malvern; by her children, Patsy Patterson Summers of Jacksonville, Debra Patterson Hodge (Bennie) of Malvern, Linda Patterson Shirey of Benton, Daisy Patterson of Missouri, Dora Patterson of Louisiana, Clarence Patterson (Dianne) of Malvern, and Christopher Patterson of Alabama; her step-children, Michael Moore of Indiana, David Moore of Hot Springs, and Steven Moore of Hot Springs; 25 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, numerous step-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She loved the Lord with all her heart, and cherished all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, loved life, and fought her illness until the end.

Her funeral will be on Saturday afternoon, July 20, 2013 at two o'clock at St. Paul Church of God in Christ in Perla with Brother Jerry "Retread" Beck and Sister Jean Zuppo officiating. Interment will follow in Big Creek Cemetery.

Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the team from Arkansas Hospice. Two very special honorary pallbearers are Jerry and Aline Hodges.

Visitation will be Friday evening from six until eight o'clock at J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
