Jimmie Dale Allen, age 82 of Malvern, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in the Baptist Hospital. He was born on December 6, 1932 in Valliant, Oklahoma to the late Josephus Allen and Mamie Elizabeth Gordon Allen. He had been a security guard at a correctional institution. An attendee of the Gospel Light Baptist Church, he loved fishing, hunting, and gardening.

He is survived by his children, Shenan, Sr. and his wife Charlotte Allen, and Mamie Michelle Hardin, all of Malvern; a sister, Dorothy Sanders of Ruston, Louisiana; 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jimmie was also preceded in death by five brothers.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
