Jo Teale Sibley, age 83 of Malvern, died Tuesday evening, September 17, 2013 at Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs. She was born on August 30, 1930 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Conrad Franks and Christina Cunningham Franks. She was a retired sales coordinator with DLM, Inc. in Malvern. Jo was the widow of the late Jim Teale and Jerry Sibley. Her family will miss her lovely smile, colorful storytelling, and especially seeing her at family gatherings.

She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Kacie Harrison, Cynthia Jones, and Christy Martin; granddaughter Valerie Pearson, and her brother Paul Franks.

She is survived by a daughter, Liz Haverty and her husband Clint of Krum, Texas; three sons, Randy Teale and his wife Sara of Hot Springs, Mike Teale and his wife Val of Malvern, and Buddy Teale and his wife Debbie of Greenwood; one sister, Lorene Finn of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a sister-in-law, Debbie Franks of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a brother-in-law, Mike Sibley and his wife Kay of Mount Ida; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and dear friends Jan Thomas and Traci Wright. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at The Crossing in Malvern.

A memorial service will be held at four o'clock on Thursday afternoon, September 19, 2013 in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Deacon Henry Thompson officiating.

Visitation begins at three o'clock, and the family looks forward to visiting with guests at that time, and also following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
