Joshua James Kemp, age 30, of Hot Spring, Arkansas, died Monday, June 13, 2011 in Hot Springs. He was born on December 2, 1980 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Rebecca Helms Draper. Reared and educated in Hot Springs, Joshua had attended Lake Side Schools and later attended Garland County Community College. He loved computers and was the assistant coach of Team Riser Jukes basketball team. He was employed by Riser Nissan in Hot Springs. He was a loving son and father and will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his grandmother Anna V Helms of Malvern; mother, Rebecca Helms Draper of Malvern; Sister, Jennifer Ann Kemp; Daughter, Deja LaTron Kemp of Kansas City Missouri, fianc Denise Maxie and her children; De' Andre Phillips, RaVon Maxie, Jeremiah Maxie and Amber Maxie of Hot Springs; several aunts, uncles nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be Friday June 17, 2011 at the JA Funk Funeral Home Chapel at 2 o clock with Brother Scott Efired officiating.

Visitation will Thursday June 16 at the Funeral Home from 6 o clock to 8.

Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Tyler Short, John B. Wilson, Tyler Findley, Nathan Atlas, Jack Packis and Wes Penson. Honorary Pallbears will be: David Stuart Sr. and David Stuart Jr.
