Joyce Ann Hendricks, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 while a resident of Serenity Senior Living in Vilonia, Arkansas.  She was born in Malvern on November 18, 1943 to the late Leo Turner and Carmel Boals.  Joyce was reared and educated in Glen Rose, graduating high school with the class of 1962.  She had been an independent insurance agent for a number of years.  Joyce was a Christian and lived it.  She loved to grow flowers, enjoyed doing crafts, and was a talented baker.  Joyce was the widow of the late Fuller Hendricks, to whom she was married on October 23, 1980 in Benton, Arkansas.  He preceded her in death on October 27, 2020.

She is survived by her son, David Gentles (Darlene) of Pearcy, Arkansas; daughters, Gail Yandell (Ronny) of Conway, Kim Hendricks of Siloam Springs, Christy Henry (Dale) of Bentonville, and Dana Hendricks of Bryant; two brothers, Leon Turner (Rita) of Malvern, and David Turner (Judy) of Palestine, Texas; a sister, Sue Witham (Bill) of Saline County; 13 grandchildren, Aaron Riggin, Emily Barnhill, Andrew "Dee" Riggin, Kaitlyn Riggin, Kyle Henry, Carson Henry, Brooklyn Henry, Tiffany Gwatney, Tyler Gwatney, Lauren and Emily Gentles, and Kyle Yandell and Jordan Steele; and eight great-grandchildren, Bentley, Levi, Zaelyn, Ivy, Noah, Shiloh, Rori, and Jace; and by a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

Joyce was also preceded in death by two sisters, Janell Straley and Laverne Boshears.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, April 13, 2025, beginning at 3:00, in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Joyce's niece, Pam Taylor officiating.

A visitation will precede the service by one hour, beginning at 2:00.

Pallbearers are Aaron Riggin, Kyle Yandell, Carson Henry, Bradley Barnhill, Zaelyn Williams, Morgan Stuart, and Kyle Henry.
