Kyle Hilton Thomas, age 73 of Malvern, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at his home. He was born on May 12, 1941 in Ansted, West Virginia to the late Russell Thomas and Vesta Paxton Thomas. Reared and educated in West Virginia, he had been an area resident since 1987 when he moved to Diamondhead. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a Methodist. A retiree of the United States Postal Service, he was a "jack of all trades" and master of most. He bred and trained thoroughbreds and was an avid golfer, winning the club championship at Diamondhead in 1987. Mr. Thomas was a 32nd degree Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Thomas; his children, Kyle and Leslie Norosky, Cheryl and John Martin, and Jodie and Dan Calhoun; his grandchildren, Kelsie Anderson, Kathryn Clower, Mike and Aneila Martin, and Garrett and Kylie Norosky.

Mr. Thomas was also preceded in death by a sister Kate Harrah, and four brothers, Darrell, Garland, Keith, and Lowell Thomas.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
