Lawrence E. "Tripp" Hicks, III, age 37, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 14, 1975 to Deborah Rutherford Hicks and the late Lawrence E. Hicks, Jr. Reared and receiving his early education in the Bryant School District, he later attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Tripp had worked in automobile sales for a number of years. He loved music, and was a very talented guitar player. He was a Baptist by denomination.

He is survived by his daughter, Taylor Hicks of Little Rock; his mother, Deborah Hicks Berry of Alexander; two sisters, Michelle Carnahan (David) of Bryant, and Rachel Inmon (Josh) of Benton; three nephews, Blake and Drew Carnahan, and Luke Inmon; and a niece, Sophia Inmon.

A visitation will be held at the Midtowne Church, 4037 Boone Road in Benton on Monday evening from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday morning at 11:00 at the Midtowne Church with Brother Doug Pruitt officiating and under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home of Malvern.
