Linda Renee
Milburn
Dec 11, 1961 — Oct 14, 2025
Malvern
Linda Renee Milburn, age 63, of Malvern, died Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her home after a ferocious battle against cancer. She won the battle by gaining entry to her heavenly home, where all who have gone before her welcomed her with open arms. She was born on December 11, 1961, in Malvern to the late Joseph Porter and Linda Walker Porter. Renee loved her family and friends with a profound love, rooted in her faith in God. Her church family rallied around her for these past five years, and gave her the encouragement she needed to persevere through her illness. Renee was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed going on cruises and lying on the beach. Her's was a familiar face at the bakery inside Walmart, where she had worked for 20 years, and retired as manager. A member of Poyen Assembly of God, she attended services there this past Sunday for the last time here on earth. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and will miss her terribly, but long for the day of reunion!
She is survived by her husband, Doug Milburn, to whom she was married on April 1, 1993 in Malvern; by her children, Court Nichols (Wendy), Whitney Johnson (Chuck), and Dalton Milburn, all of Malvern; five grandchildren, Mahlon, Merrill, Merrin, and Malachi Nichols, and Gracyn Johnson; by a brother, Slade Porter of Malvern; an aunt, Lucille Dunn, of Paducah, Kentucky; and her best friend, Barbara Pierce of Malvern.
Renee was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Porter.
A visitation will be held on Thursday evening, October 16, 2025, from 6-8 o'clock, at J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
Her funeral will be on Friday morning, October 17, 2025, at ten o'clock, in the sanctuary of Poyen Assembly of God Church with Brother Jason Keisler officiating.
Interment will follow in Harp Cemetery under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home. Following the committal service, all are welcome back to the church for a bereavement meal.
