Linda Ann Pomarez, age 70 of Malvern, died Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in Little Rock.  She was born on July 9, 1952, in North Kingstown, Rhode Island to the late Edward Eugene Clark and Barbara McGhee Clark.  A military child, she was reared and educated stateside and in the Philippines.  Her passion was caring for troubled kids.  She ran group homes, crisis homes, and helped with fostering children.  Linda was affiliated with the Full Gospel Church.  She was the widow of the late Mike Pomarez, to whom she was married on October 25, 1975.  He preceded her in death on March 30, 2020.

She is survived by her daughters, Tara Lee Heinley of Malvern, Dana Renee Pomarez of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Lydia Corona of California; a brother, Larry Eugene Clark of Georgia; four grandchildren, and great-grandchild; and  special friends, Pat Ball, Joyce Lotta, Carolyn McGinnis, and Kim Conrad.

Linda was also preceded in death by twin siblings, Dennis and Denise.

A graveside service will be held in the Little Rock National Cemetery at a later date under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
