Obituary

Louise Bankson Reinders - dearly loved wife, mother, and grandmother - passed away on Wednesday, February 15th in Cary, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mannon and Ruby Bankson; and is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bill, two daughters, Lee Ann Dietz of Cary (Alex), NC and Linda Taylor of Durham, NC (Woody), six grandchildren, Madison, Grace, Emma, Georgia Louise, Andrew and William; her sisters, Barbara Wallis of Searcy AR and Georgia McGill of Harrison AR, her brother Mannon Bankson of Anniston, AL.

Louise was born on March 7th, 1936, in Hot Spring County, AR, She graduated from Malvern High School and received her BSE in Mathematics from Henderson State Teachers' College in 1960. She met Bill Reinders in Goose Bay Labrador, Canada while teaching for the DOD.

Louise was an active member of PEO, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a parishioner of St Apollinaris Catholic Church in Napa CA (Mary, Mother of God Catholic Church in Harrison AR). She was a breast cancer survivor. Louise is remembered fondly by her family and friends as an intelligent and loving wife and mother with a passion for education. She will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at eleven o'clock Saturday morning, June 24, 2017 at Big Creek Cemetery under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
